Description and documentation of the Ngäbere / ngäbe / ngöbere / novere / nove / guaymi

There is a complete and recent description, from a functional-typological framework, of the grammar and phonology of the Costa Rican variety of the novere: Murillo Miranda, José Manuel. Guaymi language grammar. Costa Rica. Editorial Academica Española. There is also a complete and recent description of the Panamanian variety: Quesada Pacheco, Miguel Ángel. 2008. Guaymi language grammar (ngäbe). Munich: Lincom. It should be noted that the vast majority of publications on this language are based on data collected from speakers in Panama, and this is why only the works on Costa Rican variety or based on data collected in Costa Rica are cited here.
